Step One: An Idea

Obviously this is where I begin.  Since I'm just now starting this blog, I have a few ideas that I've been mewling over for sometime now.  I want to use one of these ideas.  They are, by all means, not complete ideas, but I have to start somewhere.

This idea I think can actually be good.  It's called.  Trash in the passenger seat.  The idea is that I have a main character.  I generally try to avoid naming characters until I have an idea of where they fit within the story.  Sorry tangent.  This main character has this image that he lets the world see.  My brother says that this is a persona.  He wants people to see him as a helpful, selfless, person, who is capable of taking care of himself and others.  He wants that, but he also has this other side to himself.  He only does his dishes.  He only clean his part of the house.  He strongly believes in his own responsibility and other people's responsibility.  My brother again points out that this is a person's shadow, something they hide from everyone else.  In other words he's lazy and selfish.  The shadow is also a closer representation of one's true self.  This brings me back around to his persona.  He wants people to believe himself capable.  So if he wants this, would he go off and clean the inside of his car if he knew that someone was going to ride in it.  That question was rhetorical.  Yes, yes he would.  Since he would do that, what would it mean if his passenger seat had a pile of trash in it?  He doesn't have anyone in his life that would ride in his passenger seat, and more importantly he doesn't have any self confidence to believe that there would be anyone to ride in his passenger seat.

Thank you for reading I know that this is small, but I'm still figuring things out.  Next I'll talk about the main character, and why he has this persona and shadow.
